What round was Michael Jordan drafted?
Michael Jordan did it again. His Airness led his 1984 draft class to a romp victory in our Greatest NBA Draft Ever bracket, in which 1984 was never really challenged.
Jordan, John Stockton, Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley and Otis Thorpe ran through the tournament to the surprise of no one. What was somewhat surprising was their opponent in the finals, as the 1996 class knocked off LeBron James 2003 squad.
GREATEST DRAFT EVER: Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 | Championship game
It's not hard to see why 1984 had so much success. The idea of Stockton feeding Barkley Olajuwon and Thorpe down low is almost enough on its own to secure a dominant lineup. Adding Jordan to the mix puts it over the top-way, way over the top.
In this hypothetical matchup, we like to imagine Jordan was his usual self, finishing at the rim and knocking down late shots. But truth be told, the 1984 bunch was probably up so much that Jordan didn't even need the ball late in the game. Barkley padded some stats and reserve Sam Perkins got some well-deserved PT.

We can't imagine Bryant and Allen Iverson took the loss well but there was really nothing they could have done. The 1984 class was simply the greatest ever.
